About SG Flatmate

Honest numbers for Singapore's biggest decisions

Buying a flat, getting married and renovating often happen in the same few years, and every one of them comes with someone who'd like to sell you something. SG Flatmate is the opposite: a calm place to work out what it all really costs, on your own numbers, before anyone else is involved.

What we promise

  • We don't sell property or act for buyers or sellers.
  • We don't take commission on homes, and the numbers don't change based on who pays us.
  • Your income, CPF and savings are never shared with vendors or anyone else.
  • The calculators and planners stay free for good.

Who's behind it

SG Flatmate is built in Singapore by a small independent team who wanted the honest version of the numbers they were looking for themselves: what a flat really costs after CPF and grants, whether the wedding and the renovation fit in the same year, and what's actually fair to pay.

It's independent, with no developer, agency or bank behind it. That's why we can say plainly when something doesn't add up.

How it pays for itself

Free, for everyoneEvery calculator and planner: HDB and private, grants, upgrading, wedding, renovation and car.
Pro Pass, S$29 onceTwelve months of extras: a plan you and your partner both edit, price alerts, unlimited AI questions, PDF export and unlimited saves and RSVPs. It doesn't renew by itself. See what's included.
VendorsRenovation and wedding businesses can answer quote requests you choose to send. They pay a membership once their free period ends, never a commission, and they never see your finances.

Where the numbers come from

Sale prices come from HDB and URA records, and rules from HDB, CPF Board, MAS and IRAS. Every rule is dated, so you can see when it was last checked. Read how the numbers work.
